Easton Lodge and Snowdrops

Not the best of days... mostly grey and windy, but off we went to be cheered by the sight of the Snowdrops of Easton Lodge - in fact carpets of snowdrops - Easton Lodge isn't open that often so we took advantage of one of the Snowdrop open days..

Easton Lodge is an old Hunting Lodge .. it was destroyed by fire in 1847 and then later rebuilt in a different style..

A return visit to Easton Lodge

Easton Lodge had one of its few days when it was open... so this afternoon we headed off for a stroll around...

Pity it was such a grey day.. needless to say the sun is now shining in Essex!!
