OK .. from going on from, is the problem with the camera or lens or me?. I've finally concluded that the problem is ... me!! Given my arm can't stay in certain positions for very long without shaking as the muscles are still weak, I know now that with increased mobility/strength my shots are getting better.
This is a 'baby' Marsh Frog.. about two inches long from nose to tail!!
Unexpected visitor of a female Blackcap...
The Grey Heron had a very successful fishing attempt!!
Walking along the lake saw Great Crested Grebes, at least 4 Little Egrets, about 3 Coromorants and couple of Grey Herons.. various gulls and about 8 Terns... which I think are Common Terns... didn't take my binocs!!
I then caught the train to the Pleasure Gardens.. primarily of more appeal to children, but there was a butterfly house..
A butterfly emerging!!
These two pics taken through glass..
Very pretty birds .. finches of some sort in the Butterfly House..
Enjoyable visit and lot of walking which was great!! I was going elsewhere later but it really clouded over .. so back to the Hotel.. good day out..
A lover of wildlife and birds in particular and a keen photographer
who's learning all the time!
For me there's nothing better than the great outdoors and escaping into
it as often as I can; even if it's only a walk very locally. I love the
sea and water in any form. There's something magical about reflections
in very still water.
