Llanhydrock and Rock beach on 19 June

Yet another wet rainy day.. Despite that I headed off for Lanhydrock .. the gardens generally are very formal and precisely laid out.  Such a shame the sky was such a dull grey.

The sun was starting to emerge, so I headed off to a beach... went back to visit Rock again..
and sat and had an ice cream .. very nice :D .

Again the dogs were enjoying the beach and sea.  Today the tide was out.

 Then back to where I was staying as I was off to friends for the evening and an overnight stay.

Lanhydrock..

Today the weather changed for the better.. the sun shine and despite a cold wind, it was a gorgeous day.

I headed off for Lanhydrock - a National Trust property .. what a beautiful place!!! A full history can be found here.. fascinating

A Clotted Cream and Strawberry Cornish ice cream.. lovely :D

As I walked back the car park, the local herd including many calves joined us along the way..

and a stop enroute to where I'm staying.. I had a purchase or two at the Camel Valley Vineyard - I MIGHT go back for a tour.. time permitting

Great day out... would thoroughly recommend Lanhydrock!!!
