We armed ourselves with peanuts and sunflower hearts to feed the birds in Hyde Park
The Christmas funfair was being erected - the big wheel, at this point, had just 3 'cabins' - the last picture of this shows some progress!
It was freezing cold but the sun was giving some lovely colours and light
Cormorants were sunning themselves...
and another bird that came to our hands for some food... a female Ring-necked Parakeet
a confiding Blue Tit
The light really showed up the Starling's colours..
quick as a flash, this Nuthatch grabbed the nut and was off... just a lucky shot!
and thanks to Gina for being our guide to find the Tawny Owls (she also took us to the Little Owls tree but they were not showing)
and a few more cabins added by the time we were leaving!
Eros encapsulated in plastic... I suspect this may be being turned into a 'snow storm'
