The shortest day and a pleasant stroll at Audley End.

So where to for a wander?  It was a bit drizzly as we set off and agreed Audley was the place to go.

As we drove in to the car park, a Little Egret flew off... nice to see it though..

Nothing really needs any explanation... particularly to regular visitors to my blog..

Looks like chickens are expected... this new addition is, I'm pretty sure, a chicken house..

and if you think you've got problems wrapping up the Christmas presents... how about wrapping up the rear of Audley End House?....
