Finchingfield.... on a grey day!

Well.. we needed to get out but the weather was awful and grey the predominant colour...

so off to Finchingfield which is a very pretty Essex village..

this could relate to a certain Mr. DUXon and road crossing... ;)

Re-roofing takes on a whole new dimension..

There are a couple of tea rooms in the village - both were tempting but somehow the time wasn't right today - however...

The weather may have been dull but it didn't ruin your photos. Great selection as always

What a beautiful village ~ although it was a grey day, you found many colourful images and interesting places ~ roof thatching as well. Thoroughly enjoyed my walk around, although I would have liked to stop at a teashop ;)

Wendy... thank you - it was good to get out!!

RR - the village is very very pretty but parking a nightmare.. residents have to park in the street.. must be so difficulty for them especially with all the visitors the village gets!

Glo - Thank you...I'm sure another day we will indulge in tea and cake; neither of us felt very hungry on this occasion...

Such a pretty place. The owl in the window is priceless. Great shots.
