Polesden Lacey in the rain..

I met a friend at Polesden today.  We had planned to go to Winkworth Arboretum for some Autumn colour but the forecast wasn't good.. in fact heavy rain was forecast so we went to Polesden instead.

Had a cuppa on meeting and then walked in the rain.

 After lunch (the Fruit Scone was very very good), we had a further wander...

We walked through the children's area and discovered this amazing carving.... first time I've been through here..

A very pleasant morning in good company.. despite the rain.
