Polesden Lacey - regardless of the rain!

I'd arranged to meet a good friend of mine today, but the weather wasn't that good.  Nonetheless, after a  coffee we set off for a walk - it was more like walking in low cloud!

There were many children today, given it's half-term, and we saw some families having a picnic regardless of the wet stuff... well done them!!

Many deck chairs out although not being used...

and there were some interesting ones!

The rose garden was looking good..

A great deal of work is being/has been done in the gardens and it's looking really good.. well done to all involved.
