Polesden Lacey - in the Fog.....

I awoke to thick fog... and so it remained... decided I'd go to Polesden in the hope it might clear.

Well.... turned off the main A road and as I drove ...  the sun shone and the sky turned blue... it lasted about 20 minutes then the fog came back... and never went again.....

I stood here with the sun on my back and it was soooo warm.. lovely..

Within 5 minutes of feeling the sun.... it disappeared and the fog came down... and never went while I was there...

A cuppa and an excellent scone waiting to see if the fog would lift.. Polesden's scones are always consistently good!

It didn't so I had a wander round the house

I was going to stop at Boxhill on the way home if the fog cleared... it didn't.

I stopped at a local vineyard as the vines were turning golden.... sadly the fog prevent any decent pics.

Mr Ponders climbed onto a tractor to see if there was a better view...

As well..... for the 20 minutes of sunshine it was lovely.
