Wisley .. on a very windy day!!

Met a friend of mine today and we went to Wisley.. We suffered the wind of Storm Eleanor today... but not cold.

Having taken the binoculars, hoping to get to the bird hide in the Arboretum, unsurprisingly given the strong winds, access to the Arboretum today was not allowed.

However, not long after wandering, we saw in the region of 50+ Redwings.. I gave up counting at 50 !!  Record shots only

My first snowdrops... hopefully I'll get up to Anglesey Abbey in the height of the snowdrop season..

Into the Glasshouse which is still dressed for Christmas

Later this month, there will be all the butterflies in the glasshouse.. A few are there already!!

and out into the gardens again..

Good to have some fresh air.. albeit it was very very windy!!  and thanks as ever for your company IHD/....
