A lazy day... in good company

Stayed close to home today... and met my daughter this morning .. which was great.. we had a walk along the sea front and rewarded ourselves with a cold milk shake and shared an Apple Danish... the dog had a long drink of water.

"oh come on... there' two of you.. surely one of you can throw the ball" 

at last!!

I then headed back and called in to Arundel WWT on the way back.... not surprisingly it was very quiet.

The the real birdy hightlight was a Cuckoo singing for at least 20 minutes... too far away to even look for it .. but wonderful to hear one!!
