The Four Seasons

And that is what the weather has been like today.

We've had:

Spring showers and winds
Brilliant sunshine and the blue skies of summer;
Leaves swirling around the garden in the wind - so reminiscent of Autumn
Thunder, hailstones, freezing temperatures and snow associated with Winter

And now, at 6.00 p.m. as the sun is setting, it casts a warm pink glow as it lights the undersides of the clouds and warms the red tiles on the rooves of the houses.

And.... A Blackbird, high in a tree just outside the window, heralding sunset with its beautiful song.

What a lovely way to end the day.
