Ring-necked Parakeets coming in to roost

The RNPs disappeared from this roost last October (2007). In December a few returned and, at that time, it looked as though the whole roost would come back again as it had done before. But this was not to be. As far as I'm aware, they are still not there.

Excellent video... I wonder where they are roosting now? Do you know what the are eating now in the wild ?

Tom - in the wild they eat seeds, berries, fruits, flowers. Apparently those in UK gardens now eat meat such as bacon, or meat on a bone! Additionally they come to the feeders - my sunflower hearts are very popular with them!
