Bangkok, 9 November 2022. Bang Pa-In Palace & Ayutthaya Ruins

 Today (9 November) was my 2nd  full day in Bangkok and a little more relaxed than yesterday 

We started out early after breakfast and were driven to the beautiful Bang Pa-In Palace. This was once a royal residence.

The 2nd part of the day was a visit to the UNESCO ruins of Ayutthaya.. Some of the structures had a definite slant to them.
And there is a head of Budha embedded in a tree trunk surrounded by tangled roots,
We had lunch there before heading off back to the hotel at the end of the day.

Tomorrow we leave Bangkok and travel north.. more to come!
