13 and 14 November 2023 - Halong Bay, Vietnam
Well, I returned to the UK last Monday (27 November) after having been away in Vietnam and Cambodia for about 17 days Unfortunately, I wasn't well for the last 5 days of the holiday and still not quite back to normal yet either. This has delayed the processing of many many pictures I took but at least some are now done.
One of the highlights within the first 4 days of arriving in Vietnam was an overnight 'cruise' on the Halong Bay.. Remarkable sights and amazing place to be. Sadly it was very dull and overcast while we were there
Black Kites were our constant companions flying high over the tops of the limestone mountains, the mountains have been evolving over thousands of years !
There was also another low flying bird which I have yet to identify!

A Change of diet in a completely different country usually causes some problems.
Everyone I've met who visits Vietnam loves it. My godson fell in love with it as a teenager and visits regularly. I'd go just for the black kites. I hope you recover fully soon.
