Abbotsbury Swannery and the SubTropical Gardens 15 July 2019
My first day en route to Dorset for a few days.
Stopped at Abbotsbury Swannery and then a very short distance away at Abbotsbury Tropical Gardens!
The swans are wild and arrive here every year where they are looked after. It's the only managed colony in the world.

Abbotsbury Swannery and Sub-Tropical Gardens..
Stayed relatively local today.. just a short drive to Abbotsbury Swannery and Sub-tropical gardens. Mum loved going to both... so today is in her memory... not the happiest of days today, for another reason.. but hey... that's life eh!! ??
Lots of lambs and some ewes about to give birth.... so lovely to see..
My first ducklings of this Spring..
and then on to the Sub-tropical Gardens.. just wish the light had been better.. but it was dry and mild..
