A long anticipated visit to Woolbeding.. a National Trust gem..

Many months ago Pete asked me if I knew Woolbeding Gardens (as it was near me).. not heard of it says I.

Well, it's a National Trust Property which opened only last year.  You have to book in advance and there is no access by car (there is provision at the property for Blue Badge parking..).  We went to Midhurst to a designated car park where a mini-bus conveyed us the 10-minute journey from Midhurst to Woolbeding.  We booked some months ago.....and today.....

The gardens were beautiful and varied.  The forecast wasn't too encourage but, after an initial drizzle the sun shone, the sky was blue and the temperature was very warm.  Gorgeous.

So many pictures taken today that I've split the day into 2 posts; this being the first one.

Please enjoy......

Those gardens are gorgeous. I especially love the half of the series. Looks like a great place to read a book with a nice warm drink:) Have a good weekend!
