Warnham LNR.. a fleeting visit

Been fairly  confined with family stuff over the last few days.  Had some shopping to do locally but had a quick and fleeting visit to Warnham.. the sun shone, initially, and it was much warmer than the last few days.  It was good to be out in the fresh air.

Out on the water, there was nothing much other than gulls, tufted ducks and coots.. very quiet.

The usual group of 5 Black sheep greeted me on arrival

but round by the feeders it was very well populated with a couple of female Bramlings (who left as I arrived and didn't return) Long-tailed Tits, Blue and Great Tits.  Many many Redpolls and Siskins.  Goldfinches and Chaffinches. Reed Buntings. And a couple of male Pheasants  A very busy feeding area today.

Male Siskins

This (female?) is ringed..

and a lovely group of snowdrops as I left.

Cobwebs almost gone now :D

Really nice photos, especially of the Siskin. Well done for seeing the Reed Bunting too :)
