Headed off for Polesden this morning. Very muggy but the sun was shining. Forecast for thunder storms late afternoon.
I'd heard Ring-necked Parakeets at Polsden before but never seen them.. seems they have found the feeders...
Thought this looked rather 'fairy tale' in the children's area.. part of a trail from half-term - it was about to be dismantled...
Lots of the meadow left to grasses and wild flowers... this picture doesn't really do it justice ...
Buttercups and daisies..
Roman Snail.. only my 2nd sighting of one.. and they've both been at Polesden..
This herd of cows and their young were very camera shy...
Think this is Shelf Fungus..
Beautiful clematis growing in planter outside the house..
The roses just coming into bloom.. very shortly will be a riot of colour in the Rose Garden..
The irises just going over now...
And Peonies....
