My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Nothing to do with wildlife - just new life!

Just to say I'm unashamedly proud of my daughter who for the past three years, in addition to running a home and being a mum to her son, has also been a university student.

And today - she heard the results of her labours (pardon the pun).

She is now a qualified midwife.

Well done me dear - it's more than deserved - you've done so well and I'm delighted for you.

(I know there's more work ahead to get your degree but, don't worry about the thesis - it'll be a breeze - big grin)

I am delighted for her too and I don't even know her! I have a high respect for people who have the stamina to get back to university and be a student again AND manage the responsibilities they have.

Give Tricia's daughter my best regards and a extra big hug.

Great news Tricia!

Not only doing the degree bit but the real stuff too!

Well done spd! Congratulations.

Now for the easy bit....the thesis.
If you have picked something that you are interested in its a great way to really study a topic.Get your teeth into -well I expect that would be inappropriate!

I enjoyed my thesis for my degree so I feel sure you will do too.

Well done to your daughter. I can still remember my parents pride when I got my degree, and at the ceremony. You must be as proud as punch.
