Today I headed off on the M25 again and, again, the roads were clear as was the sky - clear blue and loads of sunshine.
I bought a sandwich etc at Tesco's and went to Amwell Nature Reserve. Loads of birds about but all too distant for the camera today... except this Canada Goose making waves in the water.
and this Mallard who was happy to doze in the sun..
Having visited a couple of hides I decided to walk along the Lee Navigation Canal (which is a canalised river). Being a totally windless day the water acted as mirror and afforded some rather nice picture opportunities.... as follows:
and to end the afternoon a quick visit to Rye Meads. The light on the water in the later afternoon was lovely; pity these two Mute Swans chose to preen behind a clump of grass!
and tomorrow.. the sun promises to shine again - so out somewhere - as yet we haven't decided where....but...
