One of the main attractions of Nymans is that, no matter what time of year, there is always something interesting in the gardens.... and the winter plant colours were a joy to see.
In 1947 the House was gutted by fire and this Sculpture marks the anniversary of that. Wooden sculptures are around the house and some of the trees. The wooden sculptures will eventually be removed and, on a February evening, these will be burnt... to commemorate the fire event.
Now I know what the 'fruits' are on this tree....

Don't know what this is, but the lush green was great to see!
A break at lunch time for a bowl of soup (my friend) and a goats cheese with red onion chutney sandwich for me - yum!!
Thanks again IHD for your company :)
