I was going to Mum's for Christmas dinner (excellently cooked by my brother) but had a slight detour enroute.
Was lovely to stand on the beach and look at the sea.... even if it was for just 5 minutes.
and nearly at my destination... I had to stop and look at the view... it's so much better this tie of the year when the sun is low in the sky in the morning.
Just another 5 minutes but everyone of them appreciated.
Lovely lunch and then back home... with something suitable for the date chilling in the fridge.......
