Busy day today but managed a sort visit to Warnham....

The Nuthatch was visiting..

and a few Robins about.....

Very quiet out on the water ... so that' is for today.....

Flatford Mill on a sunny warm September Sunday

We went for a wander at Flatford Mill... bit cloudy to begin with but..

Lovely and very relaxed Sunday ..

Wimpole at war WW11

We were going elsewhere today until we discovered that Wimpole was staging a World War 11 reenactment day - so got there early and managed to park easily

First stop a cuppa and a Carrot Scone... not sure it worked though.. more cake in texture than a scone

and then off for a wander

No idea what the plane is but kept us entertained for  bit..

Then Mr Churchill arrived..

and with him was "Monty" (Field Marshall Montgomery)

Early lunch and return home as we're off to a concert this evening... first one of the season :D ..
