Went to Coughton Court today for the first time. Beautiful house which was home to the Throckmorton family for 500 years - they were persecuted for the Catholic faith and they risked everything on secret plots and political intrigue....
A cupboard of knitted toys greeted me on arrival at the visitor's centre..
The stable yard.... now used
There are two churches.. this one is C of E and was open..

Up to the roof for few views.. the sun had left for the day
A lovely visit - and I went elsewhere on my way home.. but that's a post for another day!!
