The Rhododendrons and Azaleas were really coming to the end of their flowering period..
There was a pair of nesting Little Grebes out on the lake plus Tufted Ducks, Mallards and Coots and a single Cormorant.
But most entertaing was a family of 10 Mandarin little ones being looked after by Mum
the young ones were leaping out of the water catching their meal!!
A few Demoisells about.. saw a few males and this singular female.
