My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Warnham LNR ... in brief..

Had a brief visit to Warnham yesterday.... although not raining it was rather dull.  Just record shots today.

Out on the pond, a Great Crested Grebe was on a nest.  The pair lost their previous brood.

Mute Swans and Mallards were dozing..

The only (as far as I could tell) remaining Common Tern refused to turn for a pic..

and a very young Robin was having a meal

Quite a few Great and Blue Tits around..

and another rear end view - a Nuthutch

and a Male Kingfisher sat in the reeds....

Your birds are in rather better nick than the feathery scrags round here at the moment!
