My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Warnham LNR.. the usual culprits

Went shopping and popped over to a camera shop this morning... hmmm ..

I bought a sandwich and headed off for Warnham where I sat in the Heron Hide eating and watching a Kingfisher.....

Love this view..

Cormorants doing what Cormorants do...

The Kingfisher was in the reeds much further away than we wanted.. but best to have some record shots than none at all.

One of the pair of Great Crested Grebes.. they've had a weed dance apparently :)

Mr & Mrs Pochard

Reed Bunting in the feeder area

and a fluffed up Robin

And finally, preening and bath time for Mallards..

Was a bit better weather than Storm Imogen yesterday!!

I saw a cormorant doing its thing today, struggling to swallow a fish as it sailed along the surface of a lake in Farndon
