Polesden Lacey .. a wander

Met a friend today and we had a wander at Polesden Lacey .. we arrived early as today it was a very popular place to be given yesterday's terrible weather and fact of school holidays.

Not sure what this tree is but..

Hoped this was Silver Washed Fritillary, but pretty certain it's a Comma ...

an the Scone was excellent.... warm from the oven, crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy with lots of fruit on the inside.. probably a contender for the top 5 scones of the year.
