I went to spend the day with a very good friend yesterday. As the weather was at least dry, we headed off to Batemans House and Gardens... being the home of Rudyard Kipling. We didn't go into the house today as we've been a few times over the years.
The Pond near where I was visiting my friend
The Spring flowers were lovely ..
We stopped for some lunch .. a sandwich and an enormous scone!! Massimo approved
This is obviously a work in progress... couldn't get that near but it was beautiful even from a distance

Love the bluebells Tricia, are they the Spanish ones or our original ?
Hi Roy... good to see you.. These aren't actually Bluebells.. it's a little early for them.. they're Grape Hyacinths.. but the often look like a carpet of bluebells...
I love that little turret on the corner of the house
