Arundel Castle... surrounded by colour and Tulips

I was off to Arundel Castle today with my daughter... to see the gardens and tulips.
My apologies.. there are rather a great number of pictures... so much to see!!

We were there early, so had a wander along the stream.

and then into the Castle..

First stop was to the Fitzalan Chapel..

and then off up the slope to the Collector Earl's Garden..

Amazingly, wisteria starting to bloom!!

We had a bite to eat and a cuppa... then heavy rain, so we decided to visit the Castle itself. - by the tie we'd bought the extra tickets - it has stopped raining!!

So we started with a walk up through to the top of the Keep

and then inside to the Castle Rooms.  I hadn't gone with the correct camera for indoor shots so...

and then, outside again.

What a wonderful day it was... typical April weather... sunny one minute, heavy clouds the next, and heavy showers..

But a wonderful day out with my daughter... thank you so much for your comany. xx
