Have I been watching the Olympics? Generally - no (not that much of a sporty person), but, I do watch the "catch up" usually when having my meal in the early evening each day.
I used to do a great deal of cycling (not that long ago) so, although I don't find cycling events that exciting to watch, I've been following the undoubted success of our cycling team.
14 medals in total - 14 Golds, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze. Chris Hoy having tripple Gold - one of which was in the sprint with Jason Kenny coming in 2nd to take Silver.
And Victoria Pendleton, taking the gold in the Women's sprint!!!
WHAT GREAT STUFF!!
We Brits are certainly holding our heads above water this year - Congratulations to all our team (regardless of event) - just for getting there!
