Sunset vapour trails - for Skywatch

As the sun was setting against the backdrop of a cloudless blue sky, the vapour trails of several planes were lit by the setting sun. This is the view from my back garden.

And already another plane is making its mark:

These are great shots. This always makes me think the planes did not know what direction to go and they just kept crossing the sky. Great photos. Have a great weekend.

Fantastic shots! I love the turn of the one jet stream. Makes you wonder what happened to cause such a drastic change of direction.
