My local patch - still discovering

Headed off for the church again today to try out various things with cameras... the steeplejack was still at work but I left him to it ;)

As with the previous post, constructive criticism welcomed!

Taken with Panasonic GF1 and 14-42 mm lens.  "Straight out of the box" and no editing.

and with the Panasonic G3 and 45-200 lens.  Some crops and basic editing - just contrast and lighting.. no sharpening!!

Great photos Tricia, those little Lumix are super cameras. I have a GX1 and a G3, no weight at all to carry around if you don't need a big DSLR and lens that day. (Or not much extra if you do)

Thanks Roy. The "no weight" scenario is why I indulged in the G3 having had the GF1 for some time.

I do like the results of the Canon 7D but when out for the day or on holiday the extra weight can be a deterrent. So if I can use just the 2 Panasonics then the dSLR can be left in the camera bag for the day!

Nothing wrong with these Tricia.
That cemetery looks an interesting place, with great potential for birdlife.
I love that nestbox :-)
