Went on a visit to Wimpole Hall again today... it's a pleasant garden, an attractive house and extensive parkland.
As I arrived, a pied Wagtail sang from the rooftops.
I started by walking down to the lake with the Folly in the distance.
Sheep and cattle grazed or just chewed the cud..
Dozens of Greylag geese..
Given the time of year, there were many 'corn dollies'.. in the chapel
a dog!
and someone had been very inventive... sheep with sheep wool!
and dotted about were tiny mice :D
This potato had spar
a pencilled-in eye and a swan's head and neck appears....

Lovely garden photos. The corn mice were a sweet touch.
What a place, wow. The flowers are gorgeous and I love the arrangements of the pumpkins, gourds etc.
