A visit to my local ( Warnham LNR) on the way to shop for food

Most amazing sunrise this morning and the sun lasted for a bit.  But...

...by the time I was able to get out the sun had gone and light cloud came over.  Not the best time to take pictures but....

A Dunnock sang as I passed underneath its tree

Up until recently, where this Mallard is resting, was flooded with water.. water levels are almost back to normal now..

This Blackbird was waiting to....

jump up to get the fat out of the hole in the fat log feeder...

it's always popular with Long-tailed Tits

and Great Spotted Woodpeckers... a female this time..

Several Lesser Redpolls about as usual for this time of the year..

A brief visit but good to get out for a while.....
