Back to Warnham LNR - for Lesser & Mealy Redpolls...

Had another quick visit to Warnham to hopefully catch a Mealy Redpoll.. success!!

The reserve was very very busy and I thought I would find a parking space.. needless to say the Woodpecker Hide was packed too!!!

Female & Male Lesser Redpoll

One of two robins... pretty sure they were a pair!!!

Long-tailed tit... stretching out for.... something!

a Triple... Goldfinch, Lesser Redpoll & Greenfinch!

A distant Reed Bunting!

and at last!!!! A mealy Redpoll - which rather likes Niger Seed

Record shots only of a wren.. I think three of them dashed behind this tree... but can't be 100% sure!

Seen a lot of the female woodie and then the male put in appearance!

but he didn't stay for long!

Didn't catch any Goldcrests although they'd been seen about... And oh so lovely to be out for a bit in the sunshine!
