Warnham NLR.. more birds this time..

Had an hour to spare so I wandered over to Warnham after the domestic bits today.

The group of domestic chickens were roaming about today.. they 've been in the 'pen' on my last couple of visits.. probably because of the flooding!

Quite a few Lesser Redpolls about.  The Mealy had been seen earlier but didn't appear during my visit!

About 3 Siskins in total today.. Male plus 2 females

One of a (seemingly) pair of Robins

Dozens of Chaffinches..

Nice to see these two together

Just love Blue Tits..

and on the way out..

A pleasant visit.  The Mealy Redpoll and a Treecreeper had been seen in the feeding area and a Kingfisher from the Heron hide... I dipped!!  No surprise there then :)  There was a Shoveler out on the lake as well as dozens of gulls and several Tufties.  A cormorant was present as were several Mallards.  No geese at all and fairly quiet generally.
