A great opera overall.... much more of an 'ensemble' production and although all the leads were excellent it was the entire production that really won it for me.
The story line is nothing unusual for an opera and it does have a very happy ending. But one of the main attractions of this particular opera is the humour... several moments when I laughed outloud and the body language and interpretation/presentation of the humour by the singers was amazing.
A great production and one which I enjoyed very much.
