We set off early... very early for our flight to Munich - which went well and no delays. We'd feared rain both ends of the journey but, apart from some as we got onto the aiport bus, we didn't really experience any.
Having booked into the hotel and unpacked, we asked about eating places for that evening. Having been advised that it would be unlikely we'd find a table anywhere after about 7.00 p.m. - the Cup Final was being played that night and Germany was in the final, so we decided on a 'lunch' - just in case!
The local park had a good cafe so we headed off there and ate typical German food.

Having been back to the hotel for a wash & brush up, we headed out for the evening..
a very pleasant Bruschetta for supper..
and, of course, a glass of the white stuff :D

A very pleasant evening meal and stroll around Munich... and tomorrow... our first full day.
