Munich Day 5 - Thursday and going home ....

After checking out and leaving our cases in the care of the hotel, we went back to Schloss Nymphenburg on our last day - our tickets being valid for a year!!.  This time we started with a drink... it was very hot.. and a wander around the garden again before it got even hotter.

Today, apart from seeing another Purple Emporer we saw a Willow Tit.. nice one :)

and then a visit to the Marstallmuseum... full of carriages, sleighs and horse related things... fascinating.

I asked for a 'smiling pose' hey ho :D

and then into the 'house' itself.. Which was, apart from the main room, a little disappointing.  Mostly pictures, rather than furniture and artefacts.

from a 'room with a view'

and so  back to the hotel to pick up our luggage and make our way to the airport - hopefully the flight would be uneventful!

Lovely photos! The horse gave me a double take as a friend had just posted a photo of war horse armour on Facebook.
