We had a morning and afteroon today.. and, given the number of pictures I'm splitting the day into two.
So today's post, I give you Montacute House and Gardens. The weather was somewhat dull and the light could have been better for pictures but...
Been here before and always enjoy my visit no matter what time of year.
Lunch time and outside the cafe.. very large wooden clothes pegs.
We had fruit scones and at long last - really nice - fresh, not in the least bit dry and sufficient fruit. Mr. Quacks came with us again today and the scones has his approval too ;)
On a large portion of a tree trunk, the National Trust emblem was carved.
... and so onto Barrington Court for the afternoon......
