Warnham LNR - in the very warm September sunshine....

Had a wander at Warnham this afternoon.  All quiet - one Great Crested Grebe with one juvenile still about... looks like they're both ready to go.

The Kingfisher sat for some time over on the far side from the Tern Hide.  It liked its perch as it was still there on my way back out from the reserve.

Won't be long before the days get colder and the Redpolls etc starting arriving.  But I'm enjoying the prolonged summer temperatures far to much at the moment.

The Sedum flowering at this time of the year, certainly acts as a magnet for flutters and bees...
