Florence Day 5 - March 25 - Visiting Museums & Churches... in the rain.

It was raining and going to be like that for most of the day.  We decided to stay local.

Bargello Palace - one of the most amazing art collections..

Santa Croce

Lunch then a visit to the Branacci Chapel (which is part of Santa Maria del Carmine Church.)  The church was closed, but it's the chapel that is of most interest.

The Brancacci Chapel - is the main attraction of the church of Santa Maria del Carmine.  However, the church was closed in the mornings... but the chapel was wel worth a visit

A coffee at restaurant where we had our first Florentine meal about 3 years ago..

The day may have been damp, but the artwork and churches and museums definitely were anthing but..... Amazing day.
