My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Just a few from Warnham LNR

Had a couple of hours free today so I popped into Warnham.  The sun was warm and the cold wind had abated.

A Dunnock greeted me..

and from the Woodpecker hide, a Nuthatch enjoyed a meal..

A Reed Bunting

Goldfinches as usual

Nice to see some Greenfinches..

One of the many Blue Tits..

A Great Spotted Woodpecker had a meal..

And a Wren dashed about... difficult to catch it - as it never stopped..

and a pair of Great Crested Grebes... I was informed that four have been seen.. but today I spotted only two.. and very much an item..

Very pleasant time and great to feel warm for a change... :)

A very active grebe that, I only tend to see them sailing around serenly and ocasionally diving. I never see weed dances either, but in summer there always zebra sriped youngsters around...
