Didn't have a full day to get out anywhere today, so popped into Warnham about lunchtime ish.
Almost the entire pond was frozen over..
In the usual tree, Redwing enjoyed the berries
A flock of Greylags circled a few times..
Around the feeders the usual culprits including a Reed Bunting and this Songthrush
Still no Siskens or Redpolls and no record of sightings either
The female Kestral was around but no pics..
Robins everywhere .. just lovely
the Greylags were on a frozen pond!! Wondered if they were one-legged to keep one foot of the frozen water!!
A total of 17 Cormorants..
and back on the tree.. a Wood Pigeon
and Redwings
Nice to be out for a bit... my feet were frozen standing taking pics though... but worth it
