Claremont Gardens and Boxhill

As Pete hadn't visited Claremont before we headed off first thing this morning.  We arrived just as the gates were being opened and headed to the tearoom for a scone.. which was as excellent as usual.

and then off for a walk around the grounds; pity the sky was so grey!!

Ponders and Fido enjoy the view from their tree seat..

 

and as Box Hill was on the way home, we stopped for a wander and a cuppa.

A lovely day out again despite the grey skies.... and tomorrow.. where to? hmmm....
