My blog is mostly about wildlife, particularly birds, walking, days out, all growing things and anything else that comes to mind.

Michelham Priory

I was visiting a very good friend in East Sussex today and the sun was shining occasionally.  So despite the very cold wind, we visited Michelham Priory... haven't been there for years!!

"Explore 800 years of Priory history here at Michelham: from its foundation by Augustinian canons, through the destruction caused by the dissolution of the monasteries in Tudor times into its later life as a country house"
Daffodils created a cheery site though out the gardens

In the Physic Garden

A nesting Mallard.. I hope she's going to be left alone .. she was in a fairly well used area  ..
