Polesden Lacey

Met a friend today and we had a wander around Polesden Lacey.  There was a lovely breeze and it was about 22 degrees.. my sort of weather!!

Didn't take many pics.. just enjoyed the walk

Didn't stay long in the formal part of the gardens before going down the hill and wandered throught woods..

and for a while, we stood and watched 3 buzzards 'playing' high up above us!

and one of them, eventually landed on a branch of a distant tree!

And a cuppa and a scone before heading home

One of the main roads I need for this journey is shut for 5 weeks!!  So taking a detour adds about 5 minutes to the journey.. and heavy going in traffic.

A lovely day despite that!
