Windy Worthing!

After the clear blue skies of yesterday, today was what was forecasted and gale force winds and rain.

1.  I had a dental appointment this morning not far from the coast, so I visited Worthing pier
2. The tide wasn't in, so no dramatic crashing of waves, but the sea was exceedingly rough.
3. The wind was so strong I could hardly stand still, let alone hold the camera steady.
4. I helped an elderly lady across the road... she was very scared and could hardly stay upright!

So just a couple or so of pics of the sea.. which do not really illustrate the ferocity of the wind and the strength of the waves.

Exciting afternoon of housework and washing.. :) but it did have some positives!
